That means less voltage drop—so the heat stays strong, even if the lamp is a bit of a distance from the panel. The tube is just 300mm long, which keeps the footprint small. So you can squeeze it into tight spots, and still get that concentrated heat exactly where you want it. Just keep in mind—this setup throws off serious heat. Make sure your mounting hardware and nearby insulation can handle the temperature. And your control system needs to be rated for this kind of load, too.
