Let’s talk about our 600mm Carbon Fiber IR Lamps

If you need heat—and you need it now—these are for you. We built these lamps for the kind of jobs where waiting for a heater to warm up is just a waste of time and money. We’re looking at a 600mm length, 220V, and 1000W. It’s a sweet spot for most medium-sized industrial drying or curing setups. The power side of things Pumping 1000W through a 600mm tube gives you a serious punch of heat. Since they run on 220V, you can usually plug them straight into your industrial grid. No messing around with step-down transformers or complicated wiring. But the real secret is the carbon fiber. Unlike those old metal coils that take forever to get going, these heat up almost instantly. You flip the switch, and you’ve got heat. It’s that simple. No more standing around waiting for the machine to “get ready.” Why we went with carbon fiber Carbon fiber just behaves differently than the usual quartz or halogen rods. It puts out a broader spectrum of infrared radiation, which generally means more efficient heating. To keep things from burning out, we wrap the fiber in a high-purity quartz envelope. This keeps the oxygen away from the filament but lets the IR waves fly right through without getting stuck. Plus, these things are tough. They handle the stress of being turned on and off all day long much better than tungsten does. Just a heads-up, though: make sure your mounting brackets are tight. A 600mm tube is long, and if it’s vibrating or shaking, those filaments will eventually give up. Getting them into your workflow These are great as drop-in replacements if you’re trying to speed up an old line. They work perfectly for PET preforms or conveyor-belt drying. One thing to watch out for: 1000W in a small tube getshot. Really hot. If you crowd these lamps too close together in an oven, you might bake your housing. Make sure you’ve got your fans and ventilation sorted out to move that ambient heat away from the ends of the lamps. It’ll keep everything running smoother and last a lot longer.
