Why 400V fits inside a 300mm tube

Here’s the thing: that 400V rating on a 300mm tube is intentional. It lets us pack 2500W of power into a short length. High voltage means lower current draw, so you don’t need heavy wiring on the machine, and you get fewer line losses. The 300mm length and 10mm diameter give you a tight thermal profile. Perfect for spot heating or those cramped zones where space is at a premium.

Built to take the heat

The core is a carbon fiber filament, sealed inside a quartz tube. Quartz handles thermal shock and shrugs off chemical attack. Inside, halogen gas lets the filament run hotter without burning out. That keeps the tube clean and stretches the life. The R7s connector is a simple, straight-through, double-ended design. Easy to wire, and it gives the tube solid mechanical support. In other words, it’s a reliable, drop-in replacement for your existing fixtures.

Where it shines—and what to keep in mind

These elements are spec’d for industrial heating, like PET blowing and plastic processing. The ramp-up is fast, so cycle times shrink. The output stays steady, so your process temperature doesn’t drift. One note: that high heat density means your machine’s cooling system needs to be up to the job. Plan for the ambient load.
