Let’s talk about what these heaters are really built for.
We designed these infrared carbon fiber heating panels for the places where space is tight and you can’t afford to wait around for heat. They’re the kind of workhorse you need when every inch and every second counts. The specs are straightforward. It’s a 400V, high-voltage design that packs 2500W of power into a slim 300mm tube. That means you get serious heat density without taking up a lot of room. This is perfect for jobs that need focused, spot heating and fast on-off cycles. But, and this is important, that kind of power asks for a little planning from your machine. You’ll need to make sure you have enough airflow and that it’s running on its own dedicated circuit. This isn’t your average plug-and-play heater for a light-duty bench.
What’s going on under the hood?
The heart of it is a carbon fiber element, sealed inside a quartz envelope. We fill it with halogen gas, which keeps the filament stable and the output steady, even during those long, demanding runs. The quartz tube also has a reflective coating. This is a big deal. It pushes all that energy forward, so you’re not wasting heat sideways and potentially damaging the parts around it. For the connection, we use an R7s connector. It’s tough, handles high temperatures, and makes for a secure electrical and mechanical fit. Plus, it means you can swap these right into standard lamp fixtures with no hassle. If you’re working with tighter mounting, we also have a SK15 option that gives you a different lead setup.
Out on the floor, where it counts.
These panels are built to get their hands dirty. We see them all the time on tasks like PET blowing, plastic thermoforming, and curing adhesives. The beauty of infrared is how quickly it targets the surface. You can cut down on cycle times and stop wasting energy, especially compared to older convection heating methods. You get a tough, reliable design that just keeps going, even with constant heating and cooling. The performance is predictable, and the installation is simple. Just remember to match the lamp’s wattage and voltage to your load and control gear. That way, you’ll get the consistent temperature control you’re after.
