Let’s talk about the 360mm 1000W Carbon Fiber Lamp
If you need heat—and you need it now—this is the tool for the job. We built this 360mm lamp specifically for those situations where you can’t afford to wait around for a machine to warm up. It’s 1000W of raw power packed into a quartz tube, and it hits hard. Why carbon fiber? Here is the thing: most people are used to standard nichrome wire. But carbon fiber is a different beast. It pushes out energy in the medium-to-long wave infrared spectrum. In plain English? The heat actually gets into your materials instead of just scorching the surface. It ramps up incredibly fast. You flip the switch, and it’s hot. Just like that. What’s under the hood The carbon fiber core does all the heavy lifting. It handles high current way better than metal does. We wrap that core in high-purity quartz to keep oxygen out and let the heat fly. The best part? Quartz doesn’t freak out when the temperature swings. You can heat it up and cool it down rapidly without worrying about the glass cracking. It’s tough. Fitting it into your setup If you’re running PET blowing or drying lines, you already know the 360mm size. These should slide right into most industrial heating banks where you’d normally use halogen tubes. It’s a pretty easy swap. But, a word of caution. 1000W in a tube this size creates some serious localized heat. If you crowd these lamps too close together in an oven, you’re going to bake your own chassis. Make sure your fans and vents are actually up to the task. Also, keep your power steady. Carbon filaments are picky. If your voltage jumps around, you’ll burn through the lamp a lot faster than you’d like. Toss in a stable voltage regulator, and these things will last you a long time.
